IM has built toilets in Orissa in rural India and are planning to build more in other places, especially in schools but also at health care centres. Why you should contribute to a toilet

• When there are no toilets, the only option is to go outdoors. With toilets the children, and especially the girls, feel safer and are less vulnerable since they can lock the toilet door.
• For girls a toilet also means that they can attend school when they have their period, as many stay home during those days/weeks.
• Toilets reduce the risk of spreading various types of stomach diseases.
